So Honey G is finally out of the race for X factor 2016 winner…
I literally heard the UK sigh a huge sigh of relief on Sunday night!
The Honey G side show had definitely run its course and the constant disrespectful depiction of her idea of what a rapper is/should be, was wearing very, very thin.
For starters, that hat and shades combo was no longer funny, it became very annoying and the H to the O to the N to the E to the Y to the G…Honey G nonsense could only be likened to fingernails on a chalk board.
Honey is out and I don’t think many people are upset about it, if anything the only downside is I won’t be sitting and reading the barrage of outta order tweets and social media posts that ensued during every one of her performances.
But she is out and I’m cool with that…
So what now besides talk of her being signed to Syco and releasing ‘real’ music (I can’t deal)?
Well, personally I’m not here for any crappy singles or shitty Karaoke style try-a-ting nursery rhyme style raps she may churn out in the future…but what did make me laugh wholeheartedly was her appearance on Charlie Sloth’s show on Sunday straight after her exit from the X Factor.
Honey was obviously excited about her appearance because she tweeted about it, but that excitement was definitely short lived.
After Charlie began quizzing her about her authenticity as a rapper, the way she speaks and her overall dodgy mannerisms, things got awkward verrrry quickly and her management made the call to pull her out of the interview leaving Charlie to explain her sudden departure.
Charlie simply said; “The questions needed to be asked and I tried to do it in as fair a way as I could while keeping it light-hearted and fun, unfortunately, the interview can’t continue, there you go”!
A spokesperson at BBC 1XTRA also addressed the incident defending Charlie by stating; he has a reputation for asking tough questions and it’s a shame Honey G wasn’t able to stick around to finish the segment.
Fast forward to Monday morning and who crops up on Lorraine stating she has been involved with BBC 1XTRA pretty much since it was founded..?
Yup…you guessed it – Honey G!
Now I’m REALLY confused…
Is this woman a pathological liar or does she secretly have a job at 1XTRA?
Maybe she’s a shareholder?
Can someone PLEASE verify this?
Either way you look at it, if that is the case, surely she wouldn’t have exited an interview on the very station she reps right?
Who fekkin knows…this whole thing is just a blimmin joke!
I am genuinely confused!
But…one thing I am certain of, that shit she does, is NOT rap!
