An exhibit honouring the late, great Tupac Shakur will open at the Grammy Museum on 2nd February.
The exhibit aptly named; All Eyez on Me will focus on the life and times of Tupac as a solo artist and as part of the group; Digital Underground.
The exhibit will feature interviews and performance footage as well as handwritten notes, lyrics and poems.
Outfits worn by Pac have also been donated to the exhibit by his estate which his mother Afeni Shakur is overseeing.
Grammy Museum Executive Director; Robert Santelli said the following in a statement given to the Los Angeles Times:
Tupac Shakur was one of the most original and important of all hip hop artists. His writings are both powerful and provocative. It is an honor to be the first music museum to acknowledge Tupac’s legacy and to bring context to what was an incredible career [cite]
The exhibit itself is set to run from 2nd Feb through to 22nd April at the Grammy museum, Los Angeles.
They seriously need to look at bringing this to the UK…
